Something Borrowed, Something Bold: Brides at Yeticon 2024

This year at Yeticon 2024, we brought a little extra sparkle to Blue Mountain with one of our most playful themed gatherings yet — Bridal Cosplay!

Blue Mountain isn’t just the home of one of the most scenic and fun conventions around — it’s also a popular destination for weddings and bachelorette parties. So we thought: why not lean into the theme? We invited cosplayers attending the con to reimagine their characters walking down the aisle — and the creativity absolutely delivered.

We saw everything from elegant fantasy brides to hilarious and unexpected twists on the wedding theme. Cosplayers drew inspiration from anime, video games, and pop culture, bringing a wide mix of styles and creative interpretations to life. Every look added something special to the experience.

One of the unexpected highlights? Real-life brides and bachelorette groups who were on-site for their own celebrations had a blast with us! We loved posing for photos, swapping stories, and sharing the joyful chaos that comes with dressing up and celebrating together.
