Things got crunchy at YetiCon this year with one of our most chaotic and creative cosplay mashups to date — Cereal Killers: where Street Fighter-style characters met the sugary chaos of breakfast cereal mascots!

We asked ourselves a simple question: what would happen if Tony the Tiger trained in Muay Thai? What if Captain Crunch ditched his ship for a street fight? The answer: absolute mayhem... and a whole lot of fun.

From gritty, battle-ready mascots to absurdly fun costume twists, this mashup brought breakfast to the battlefield. Cosplayers took inspiration from all kinds of nostalgic icons, transforming sweet, familiar faces into fierce fighters ready to throw down in the cereal aisle.

As always, we welcomed cosplayers of all experience levels. Some modified thrifted clothes with killer details, others built full mascots! Every approach brought something special to the mix.

We got some amazing reactions from con-goers — people loved the concept, and we had tons of laughs, epic photos, and cereal box stare-downs throughout the day. It was weird, it was wild, and it was worlds of fun.
